Since
members, as well as credit union loan business, can be adversely
affected by the traditional activity associated with CPI, it
is important that our members be treated in a personal, friendly
and caring manner. Support’s interaction
with our members is professional and courteous. Their efficient
and service orientated staff is the main reason that misplacement
of CPI premiums is minimal.

Insurance was selected ten years ago not only for their quality service
reputation, but also for the monthly premium
option they offer. This option places coverage one month at a time
and only when the credit union’s collateral is unprotected.
There is no excessive interest charge due to a large, upfront annual
premium. Support’s CPI program
is consumer friendly while also protecting the credit union’s
assets. |

a technology standpoint, Support
interfaces with our internal information systems
so that we are not manually adding premiums or crediting loans with
refunds. All of our member automobile and real estate loan data
is transmitted regularly to Support, which enables them to maintain
current balance, refinance and payout information. We were also
pleased to be the first credit union selected to participate in
Support’s Electronic
Data Interface with our members’ insurance companies so that
the insurance information is provided accurately, timely and directly
from the source.
